“GDHS was triple gold that year, under Mrs. Wallaces direction” Danielle R.
Our music teacher is gone and no one knows why.
The gist of everyone’s understanding is: there was a on-going conflict with another music teacher that was believed to be cleared up— but it wasn’t. As a result, the head of the music department, Mrs. Wallace, dedicated music teacher at Georgetown District High school for 28 years, was given about a day to leave.
Everyone can agree that this is unfair. Our concert is tomorrow, and we currently have no teachers to run it. But don’t worry, because we have awesome Grade 12’s (actually love you all) we still are going to play. “She would have wanted us to.”
But, we still won’t accept the fact that she’s gone. We want her back. And we’re willing to do anything to make this happen (well, not everything..). But still, if Eleanor Wallace touched your life in any way, join the movement. Fight the system :)
